This video gives you an idea of the setup of the front rooms of apts or flats here. The very first room is the guest room, where you entertain guest and they can sleep over. It also subs as a study room, classroom if a teacher/tutor comes over or multipurpose room in general. Notice there is a half bathroom out front also. Then you enter the inner apt and a family room/schooling area and a joined kitchen.
Rent here in Ryadh is shooting up. Not quite as fast as the Emirates, but it is getting more expensive yearly.
No, I did not have my wifes permission before taking these photos and yes, our family out grew this two bedroom and we have since moved out.

LOL...what nice details especially of the freezer and cabinet. Do you actually get Jennie-O bacon in Saudi? As well as granola. We do have some organics items and one brand (Isis) here in Egypt. There are a couple of health food shops opening up here to. Can you get "whole" foods there as well, like brown rice, tofu, turbinado sugar? Tell your wife not to "kill ya" cuz the flat looks good to me. May Allah grant you and your family tawfeeq in the KSA.
Masha'Allah your place looked great.
I love how the flats and villas have a his and hers living room and more than 1 bathroom.
Yes we do get those products and loads of others. Whole foods low fat and organic products are available. Brown rice, tofu and turbinado are all here, walhumdulillah. One popular store with western products is Tamimis (Safeway) it is also located in the UAE. They have several branches here. There are also organic markets/shops here. Carrfour (French), Panda (Local), Geant (French) Sadhan (local) and Danube (unsure) are all big "hypermarkets" usually located in malls.
Thanks a lot Shaheed. I'm hiding the camera!
