Matthew Thomson took these two photos from 56th floor of Kingdom Centre

The city's sky was red like this from about 11AM till sunset, 6PM. It was so dark I had to use the headlights, not that they helped much.


Above is the massive sand storm as it envelopes Riyadh on March 10, 2009. Some are saying it was the largest in city history.
